Culture iN supports its customers’ projects right from the first creation phases through to implementation. A unit dedicated to special projects, composed of a multidisciplinary team, has been set up in-house. Engineer, prototype specialist, designer, textile and composite expert work together to bring the project to a successful conclusion.
David AMBS
The founder
February 2014, David Ambs, trained as an engineer at the Arts et Métiers school, sets up Culture iN with the ambition of positioning it as a driving force in the promising sector of biosourced materials. After three years of research and development Varian® is born, offering the first textile sheet with exclusive properties, aimed at the interior decoration, furnishing and furniture markets and generally addressing the needs for partitions, interior cladding and wall coverings, furniture and high-end objects.
Audrey LE ROY
The textile expert
A trained engineer, with solid experience in research and development, Audrey is the team’s expert for all matters relating to textile. She organises and monitors the developments of Varian® so as to meet the specific needs of industrial customers, and to upgrade standard products. Leveraging the relationships forged with Culture iN partners, she can offer rapid and smart solutions for the satisfaction of customers.
Damien MERIAUX
Technical Manager
After 20 years’ experience in project management in industry (automotive, aeronautics and rail), Damien joins the team to manage and implement technical processes at Culture iN. Damien’s role will enable him to find the best technical solutions and meet project deadlines. His multidisciplinary approach and the 100% biobased solution offered by Culture iN are the driving forces behind his daily development.
Xavier FICHEPOIL
Expert in Custom Projects and Major Accounts
After working in the retail sector, as well as in an object design studio, Xavier was able to work on product industrialization projects and elaborate architectural pieces. At Culture iN, he is your privileged contact for made-to-measure projects. He will be able to follow up and bring to a successful conclusion the most complex projects, and provide Varian® solutions adapted to the most demanding specifications.
Margaux RENIMEL
The Communication Manager
With a background in communication, she is the key contact person for all requests relating to communication.
Margaux promotes knowledge about Varian®, its properties and uses. In keeping with the material’s development, she showcases its technical, responsible and design aspect.
With a curious and creative nature, and aligned on the values conveyed by the company, she handles the communication strategy of Culture iN and Varian®
Marc JURAN
The Design and Architecture expert
A resourceful and creative expert in bespoke project management and prototyping, Marc is the contact person for interior designers and architects wishing to incorporate Varian® into their projects. To fulfil his role as project facilitator, Marc has also developed a large network of Varian® users, who are experts in cutting, forming and assembly by stitching, gluing and other methods.
Mélanie LAPORTE
In charge of the distribution network
20 years of experience in international trade have allowed her to develop a double competence: sales and marketing. At Culture In, she uses the richness of her background to develop the business. Her mission: to build and animate the distribution network, to find strategic partners on the territory and beyond the borders to make the brand known and recognized. She ensures that the offer matches the market, and adapts the trade-marketing tools and the discourse with the objective of developing sales.
